There's a famous Irish song called "Who Threw the Overalls in Mrs. Murphy's Chowder". Given we're close to St. Patrick's Day, why not throw out an Irish reference.

It looks like my string of not having a snowfall greater than an inch since I retired, over two years ago now, will continue. It may be snowing in the 'burbs, but all the hot air in DC has made it melt before it hits the ground.

Is Captain Pepper related to Dr. Pepper? :)

Morning, Lodge-O! And saints almighty, where's the pole, boy-o?

Hey wT! You and FladDUDE were on FIRE last night closing out the old poll. Well done.

I don't get this poll at all.
Me either.

O for the luv of Saint Brendan, what's this world comin to? And you two women from Boston no less! I suppose Finnegan's Wake is a nautical term then too, is it?

:p

It's always fun! He's at the University of Mary in Bismarck, he's a freshman and redshirted this year. He's about 6'4" and 280.
Probably not. I have to go up next Saturday for a parent meeting (he's studying in London next fall) and he's coming home to for the Saturday night MN game.

That sounds like it'll be an awesome experience.

Mornin' folks. We're a little over an hour from the start of TheTourney13!

Sitting at Caribou to get some work done the next hour; then I'm a class at 2 away from a 12 day break.:)

Seriously... and unfortunately, I couldn't think of Boston's big rival, otherwise that would have been a choice. Obviously I threw Michigan in there because of Notre Dame.

You know, I'm just going to take my seat at the *HT now.

No. No. You take that back. No anti-jinxing before your team is even in town.

In fact, I'm gonna sit down next to you, and we can talk about how whichever team wins this weekend still won't make it to the Joe.

I can't believe it. The gummint has shut down because of all the snow that we didn't get today. Hey Patman, is there any snow in Arlington?

Or Sgt. Pepper?

I was told that I should be rooting for the ugly helmets this weekend because it will benfit RPI if NMU drops out of the TUC list. :p

Listen, when anyone else in this city cares enough to celebrate Greek Independence Day on the 25th, maybe I'll give at rat's *** about St. Patrick's Day.
