At least yesterday, you could make the claim you were in Hawaii (or some other Pacific island since they do weird things with the time change) and it was still the 14th. ;)

EHF: i was up early but after we won yesterday would have waited just about until game time for you for this one. Hope you bring us luck. This should be a lot tougher but we always seem to play up to QU and make the games close. LGR!

BTW, that was Lance's first collegiate point. Certainly picked a good time. ;)

And now 49 saves at the 54 minute mark. She's now 155 away from the national record; the remainder of this, plus 4 other games (minimum) to reach it.

And that's the score it will end at. Selander with 57 saves on the day, bringing her total to 3947. Needs 147 to tie the record.

Phenomenal result from the women's game! RPI beat the #1 team in the ECAC, #5 in the country, on their home ice, to guarantee their spot in the playoffs. No doubt they will be the underdogs in the first round of the playoffs, no matter who they meet, but they proved today that they can not be counted out. What a season it has been, already, for these women...and who knows what is yet to come.

Safely parked in Section 17. The game in Hamden was pretty ugly but I think our boys are ready to give them a game. My (perhaps with heart rather than head) prediction is 3-2 good guys.
