Point interim coach Tyler Krueger said they would no longer schedule Adrian during the regular season. He made this comment after the first game of their two game series at Point earlier this season.

I was watching the second game online and they just turned the camera to face the opposite end of the ice when the fight broke out. I'm pretty sure the fight from the NCAA QF two years ago is on youtube somewhere if you feel like digging that up.

Adrian removed the broadcast of that game from their youtube channel. It was clearly a conscious decision because the broadcast of the women's NCAA tournament game from that season is still available.

Point has their men's hockey on demand videos password protected for their games this season...this is a trend with other Western teams...

Fun Fact 2.5 -- I was at that championship in 1993 in Maplewood. My brother convinced me to root for River Falls in the final. Years later, his daughter wound up going to Stevens Point. D'uh!

My favorite part is:
“We will follow the NCAA’s ruling to a T,” said Adrian College athletic director Mike Duffy. “We did wrong."


Then two paragraphs later:
The Division III Men’s Hockey Committee examined the matter and issued the suspensions and reprimands. Adrian appealed the decision last summer. However, the Division III Championships Committee upheld the original ruling.

A little hypocritical, eh?
