PUCKMAN RULES!!!
Another game against a ranked opponent. It has been awhile since we beat Quinnipiac, but this is the best team we have had go against them.
Last home weekend of the season. Lets close it out with 4 points.

Lets go red!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's a new weekend with a new biggest game of the year. It's been that kind of season. Progress. Let's get people to turn out this weekend and support the our team!

We can clinch home ice for the first round of the playoffs this weekend. Let's go, Red!

You must have been reading my mind. Was going to say just about the same thing. :)
Just want to add that we have to get off to a better start tonight. We fell behind 3-0 to Quinnipiac in the first meeting and then the same thing happened last Saturday in Ithaca. Let’s hope the home crowd will be loud and enthusiastic enough to get us through the first period.

Re: Q@rpi 2/21/20

53% to 35% underdog with most likely score listed as 3 to 2. As the season has progressed we are now becoming only slight underdogs to some quality teams. We could get a point out of this one if we can keep the first period competitive and close. Cannot give anything away early and certainly cannot afford to be sitting in the box down a man. A 3 point weekend goes a long way towards making a #5 seed possible. Not sure who to root for and against in the other games this weekend but we need to simply play our best each night.

Actually, RPI scored the first goal in the earlier game against Quinnipiac. Reilly scored just over a minute in.

After that, RPI played like a team that was coming off a bus trip after an overtime game the night before - badly enough to lose the rest of the period 3-0. And the game wound up as a 3-1 loss.

No excuse like that tonight. I certainly agree with your point that RPI needs to play its best game right from the start tonight.

Re: Q@rpi 2/21/20

Any news on the injury list for RPI? Against a team of the quality of QU, we will need to be as close to full strength as we can be.
