Very long review only to find out what we already knew... no UNH goal. The puck hit the outside netting. Not sure what took so long. 6:47 left in the 1st. 1-0 PC.

3:48 left and UNH amping up the pressure. Still 1-0 as Gillies is holding down the fort.

UNH headed to the PP with 2:02 left as Parisi is headed off for interference and the Cats head to PP #2.

Providence 1, UNH 0.. end of 1st

Hard to believe that UNH did not score in the final minute as they had massive pressure on Gillies on the PP there to close out the period, but Gillies somehow kept the Cats off the scoreboard.
