No one wanted to start one for this game? Mostly I just wanted to declare that the Friars are up 7-2 on the Falcons after two periods, since I may never again have the chance to announce such a lopsided score in PC's favor!
Game was tied at two at first intermission, then PC exploded for five goals in the second (six unanswered since BGSU took a 2-1 lead). Bowling Green replaced their starting goalie (Eno) midway through the second in an attempt to stop the bleeding, but the backup has fared just as poorly.
Matt Bergland has notched a hat trick already, while Eppich has scored twice for the Friars. Last I heard, shot count was like 33-13 in favor of PC, and they utterly dominated play in the second. BGSU has a 5-on-3 PP carrying over into the third, so we'll see if they can make a dent in the lead.
