Pro Leagues - PHF vs. PWPHA vs. Europe

Curious about the various pro leagues and the pros and cons of each? With the PHF increasing the salary cap to 1.5 million, it seems players could now maybe earn a living wage in that league.

Are players in the PWPHA compensated? I think maybe the national team women get paid by USA Hockey but what about the other women that make up that league? What do salaries in Europe look like?

Just wondering if anyone on here knows about this stuff. Seems crazy to even be talking about multiple pro leagues. I wonder if the two leagues will be able to figure out a way to come together.
 
Based on the Watts news it looks like the new PHF pay structure surpasses what the PWPHA offers. Watts told the press how she considered herself retired as neither setup seemed viable and she enrolled in a Masters program. What changed for her was the new salaries for the PHF...
