Re: Princeton @ RPI, Saturday, 2/20/16

Last home game of the regular season and senior night. If we do not let down after last nights crushing defeat, it should be a good game.
These guys played their hearts out last night and deserved better.
If they play the same way they did last night, this will be an easy win. One can only hope.

Lets go red!!!!!!!!!!

Tonight, for the team, seniors and coaching staff. Get two points, LGR! See you there.

An easy win? for us? When? Where? How? Princeton had us down here in NJ and we escaped with a hard earned tie. They have not been a good matchup for us for several years 9even when we win). They are big and they make you pay for 60 minutes no matter what their record is. All we can do is hope we play well. Let us also hope that we do not play just well enough to lose. When you consistently give up as many goals in the third period as you do in the entire first 40 minutes, that is just not a good omen. Please get healthy guys. The playoffs are around the bend and we need all hands on deck.

Re: Princeton @ RPI, Saturday, 2/20/16

Hey RPI, you're playing the #1 team in the nation tonight. Maybe now they'll step up their game.

Re: Princeton @ RPI, Saturday, 2/20/16

RPI women trailing #4 QU by 4-0 after 2 periods and their playoff hopes are hanging by a thread. If RPI loses, a combination of a Cornell win (currently leading Harvard 2-1) and a Yale tie or win (currently trailing Clarkson 2-1) would eliminate the Engineers. Go Clarkson! :o

Re: Princeton @ RPI, Saturday, 2/20/16

SLU is beating Brown by 3, so they're fairly firmly in the realm of 6th. If Cornell remains up on Harvard (up by 1 at around 56:00), they'd get 7th, meaning Yale can play for the tie.

Re: Princeton @ RPI, Saturday, 2/20/16

Cornell women beat Harvard in overtime. Our only hope now is for Clarkson to beat Yale (currently tied with 2 mins left in third).

Clarkson women score a PP goal with 25 seconds left and RPI finishes 8th. That's the good news...the bad news is they have to go back to Quinnipiac next weekend.

Re: Princeton @ RPI, Saturday, 2/20/16

Bad news: Cornell won in OT.
Good news: Yale lost.

EDIT: hab beat me to it. Pretty insane that 20 league points means out of the playoffs in a top 8 scenario, though. Games will be early because the Quinnipiac men are at home next week.
