You recognize that non-RPI fans are gonna make fun of the date thing. I know the Princeton ones don't care, that's for sure.

Hopefully the YouTube/large TV scenario will work from here in NJ. I don't think it'll be a problem. I was the one who posted constant updates from Hobey a few months ago, in a very disappointing (and playoff changing) loss for us.

But look at the bright side...it brought Savory into the forefront, something that has been a major positive this season.

Let them complain. I know I gave up years ago worrying about how others thought. Couldn't be happier. ;)

When I've watched RPI-TV casts through a Roku, I've never had an issue. Just make sure you have a good internet connection and it should be just fine. Might be a few seconds behind live, but that's going to happen with processing.

This year's a little different since I have a "Smart TV" with an ethernet line directly plugged into one of the ports on the cable modem. In previous years I'd have to hook up my laptop via HDMI.

So I just have to use the TV remote to go to YouTube and it's there. It has worked well fantastically many times this year.

Wired works better than wireless, so you should be good.
