Princeton/Quinnipiac @ Yale/Brown 2/1@2/2

Gonna be a great weekend of hockey with obvious focus on the so called Whitney Ave. war with QU coming down the street to take on Yale. I think Yale will take the first meeting on a high scoring one goal game. The team speed from both teams should be pretty even. The edge QU has over the Eli is experience, Yales freshmen and Soph's are going to have to step up big time especially on defense. Yale needs to not overlook an unpredictable Princeton team. Others can chime in on the challenges that Bruno and Princeton face. QU / Yale game is sold out, not sure about the Princeton game at Ingalls Friday.

Re: Princeton/Quinnipiac @ Yale/Brown 2/1@2/2

QU had better not get caught looking ahead to the Whitney War. Brown's got some momentum, and will love the chance to beat #2 in the country in its own barn (just like we beat Yale when the Elis were ranked first in the nation back in 2010).

Also, Brown-Princeton is an overlooked matchup. The teams typically play close, tight, defensive battles, and I don't see a reason to expect anything different on Saturday.

Probably still tickets available for Yale-Princeton Friday night. https://twitter.com/YaleTix usually updates on all sell outs, such as Saturday's vs. Quinnipiac.

I believe that prior to last season's win in game two of the ECAC Hockey playoffs, the Tigers had just one win at Ingalls Rink (2008) since 2006. Should be an interesting game.

I tried to get tickets for Yale/Princeton. The only tickets available were standing room. (There might be some single seats as well, because I was looking for two.)

Quiet thread. The wags in the ECAC pickem have it like this so far.

Princeton-4 Yale-20

QU-24 Brown-0

QU-13 Yale-11

Priinceton-11 Brown-11 Tie-2

When you don't have 1/4 of the fan base, what do you expect? ;)

Nah, it's probably because the folks in New Haven, Providence and Princeton actually have something better to do than cruise this place! That Brown game could be a trap game for QU, they better be ready though, Bruno plays Yale and QU like demons usually, but Harry and Jack are gone.
