Princeton at St. Lawrence

Re: Princeton at St. Lawrence

Arhontas makes it 1-0, with a delayed penalty pending.

PP #3

SLU is reeling big time.

Re: Princeton at St. Lawrence

Princeton penalty, 4x4 until the period ends.

There's the horn. 1-0 after one. Once again, the goaltender is the only bright spot for SLU.

SOG 15-8 Princeton.

Re: Princeton at St. Lawrence

SLU does not score on abbreviated PP to start the second.

Saints now in their sixth period since their last goal.

Princeton PP

Re: Princeton at St. Lawrence

Cunningham beats Kalemba, but can't beat the goalpost. Puck goes behind Zane and out.

Caister with the lastest dump penalty. Another Princeton PP

Re: Princeton at St. Lawrence

First decent shift of the game gets SLU a PP

Vermuelen scores through Bollig's screen from Flanagan.

1-1

Re: Princeton at St. Lawrence

Wow.

Pitsikoulis has the puck in front of his own net with nobody within 50 feet of him. He puts a pass right on the tape of a Princeton forward just outside the blueline. He takes it in and Princeton scores.

2-1

Re: Princeton at St. Lawrence

End of 2, 2-1 Princeton.

SOG 33-15.

SLU is going from legit first-round bye team to looking like the first-round road team everybody picked them to be, in one weekend.

Petizian playing well, or it could be 4-1 or 5-1.

Re: Princeton at St. Lawrence

SLU wins the faceoff, Vermuelen scores.

2-2

If SLU manages to get a point out of this game, they have Alex Petizian to thank for it.

Re: Princeton at St. Lawrence

Amstrong gets drilled up high, Princeton to the box.

And a nice save . . . by Petizian.

Re: Princeton at St. Lawrence

W T F??????

Princeton player deflects Vermuelen's pass out of play in the Princeton zone, and the officials bring the faceoff outside the zone.

Saints get it back in, and somehow manage to give up a 3-on-1 break while on the PP. Petizian with an acrobatic poke check save with about 5 seconds left.

We go to OT.

Re: Princeton at St. Lawrence

Princeton gets away with one CFB and three shots to the head on Vermuelen in the corner, but can't resist one last shot, and Kotyra calls it.

SLU PP with 1:29 remaining in OT.
