Potts scores twice as RIT tops Air Force in Madolora’s return

Bryan Potts scored twice, and Shane Madolora made 25 saves as Rochester Institute of Technology beat Air Force 3–1 on Friday. Matt Garbowsky added an empty-net goal for RIT (3–3–2, 2–2–2 Atlantic Hockey) after the Falcons (5–3–2, 4–1–1) pulled within one on a five-on-three goal by Tim Kirby. Stephen Caple made 30 saves for Air Force. Madolora played for the first time since Oct. 15 after an NCAA suspension regarding an eligibility application.
