Poll's & Ranking's Nightmare

Like most College Hky Fans, once a week I have to go to USCHO Division 1 Men's Poll - to see how everything has moved around. I also like to look at the USA Hockey Poll, the new NPI Hockey Ranking's, from College Hockey News the Power Rating's or KRACH System, and finally a website from Jim Dahl where I can still get the College Hockey RPI for the different Teams. Great news is that the new NPI System has taken charge & will determine the have's & the have nots for the NCAA Frozen Four Tourny. Maybe the take charge is a good thing because not too much else can agree upon the other. Don't know if I missed something or not but wasn't the NPI supposed to help with the scheduling differences. Not sure how to see Teams in the Top 20 when the Strength of Schedule is +30 in the Nation. Yes, some Teams are winning those games - when they are in the Top 5 within the NPI, but all the other collected data and Poll's say otherwise? A question comes to mind then do we blame the Folks who schedule all the College Hockey Games? And why not tell the Ivey League Teams if you want a chance to compete, your new schedules are going to reflect this. I accept my role for probably looking at too much College Hockey Stats. Living in Northern Minnesota with a lot of great Teams around you are just awesome! This would be great if the Ranking System in whole could - I don't know, maybe communicate better within themselves, so when we're done with the provided information, I'm not scratching my head wondering and guessing.
