Is womens' hockey overseas developed to the point where their national team players (and players you see on college rosters) have grown up overseas and developed their games there? Or is it that they moved here as youngsters and developed their games here in North America?

There are some great international tournaments, Czech Challenge in August features a lot of National team members, European pro players and a number of D1/D3 college players.
There's the World Selects Invite held by Selects Hockey which has a u14 and u17 division. Next year the u14 (99s for North Americans) will be held in April in Prague and the u17 (97/98s for North Americans) wil be held in Bolzano, Italy in August.
