PHF To Double Salary Cap for 2023-24

The Premier Hockey Federation has announced that the salary cap will double from $750,000 to $1,500,000 per team. The 2023-24 season will be the second season of a two-season agreement with ESPN+. The league is also available on TSN in Canada.

This season which saw the $750,000 cap also saw the introduction of healthcare benefits. The 2023-24 cap is 10x the $150,000 cap that was in place in 2021.

I'm wondering at what salary cap level will we see enough of the PWHPA talent decide the bird in the hand is worth Gary Bettman's two birds in the bush.
