PC @ Maine 2/28 3/01

Re: PC @ Maine 2/28 3/01

Split! Split! Split! Split!

Really more a hope, than a prediction, as that serves my team best. :D

(looks more like a Black Bear sweep going in)

Re: PC @ Maine 2/28 3/01

nope, i understood the title....that thread just sucked and i wanted some people to post predictions

Re: PC @ Maine 2/28 3/01

This series will be low scoring w/Ouellette & Gillies...any team getting 3 goals in a game will win...Home Ice favors Maine/both teams need wins in Hockey East and NCAA's...going with the sweep for Maine...2-0 Friday and 3-1 on Saturday. And a good matchup of Coaches also: Gendron & Leaman.

Re: PC @ Maine 2/28 3/01

I dislike UMaine and fans of UMaine. I hope your team loses both games (but I think they will only lose one of the two this weekend).

Sorry to flame but that's just how I roll! Every man, woman and child in Maine should rot in Hell as punishment for the travesty that happened to poor Jon's vehicle. :)

Re: PC @ Maine 2/28 3/01

As a Friar fan I just can't even fathom this team being able to sweep Maine at Alfond. I'll consider us lucky if we can steal one game up there with our lack of scoring punch.

Even if Maine has a lead they give it up at the end , just pull terreri and PC will score at will
Maine takes two this weekend at home. I see Red having this team ready and firing. Maine's not been great down the stretch, but good. PC has been underwhelming since 1/1/14.

Re: PC @ Maine 2/28 3/01

That was a well written preview. That's quite the feat that Providence has made it to the Garden for the Hockey East Playoffs in Nate Leaman's first two years as the head Coach.

And I was wrong. By all accounts, PC was prepared and played well. Maine was not and did not.

Heard a rumor(good source who saw it) that 2 PC players dropped the gloves in their morning skate at Alfond, Leaman let them go at it for awhile before he broke it up. I guess it was a real fight not just pushing and shoving, helmets got ripped off and everything. Tells me PC was ready to go

Re: PC @ Maine 2/28 3/01

Getting 1 more point will be the hardest point they record all year and the most meaningful one........play all 60 min and win don't tie

Re: PC @ Maine 2/28 3/01

Maine is still "TIMMAY soft".......might take another season to fully purge from this program.
