Denver and Nebraska Omaha meet for the first of two WCHA series between the teams.
The Pioneers are 3-1-1 at Magness Arena.
Nebraska Omaha is one of seven teams that will join Denver in the National Collegiate Hockey Conference in 2013-14.

Denver is sixth in the WCHA with eight points, while Nebraska Omaha is tied for second with 11 points.
Junior co-captain Drew Shore (4-9=13) and sophomore Jason Zucker (5-7=12) lead DU in scoring. Shore and Zucker led the Pioneers in scoring last season with 46 and 45 points, respectively.
Sophomore Beau Bennett (2-5=7), who missed four games with a wrist injury, celebrated his return to the lineup with a goal in DU's 5-4 win over CC. DU is 4-1 with Bennett in the lineup.
DU has allowed three or more goals in four of its last five games.
