Dangerous UNO visits Magness Arena next weekend. It was entertaining when the teams met last season in Omaha.

I expect the same this weekend!

I was at the Friday night game that UNO won...********!...jk...

I hope the UNO fans are travelling out here. I can't say enough about how great the UNO fans were on my visits...went to the 2002 Stampede as well.

Hope a few are out here. I may be at the Saturday night game. Depends on the boss aka the wife and money.

Per Gwoz, Murray will start in goal Friday.

Re: Omaha @ Denver November 18th and 19th...The NCHC Cool kids battle it out!

Friday night will be a classic "trap game"for DU.

Students & players begin Fall Quarter finals on Saturday, so very light to virtually no student section this weekend. The students will finish finals on Tuesday and return to campus Jan. 3rd

Figure that there might also be a post CC hangover as well.

On the positive front the game will be televised nationally on Root Sports.

Pios can't take the red Mavs lightly. Broadhurst and White are tied with Jack Connolly for 2nd for scoring in the WCHA. Defense, no foolish penalties, Big Guns playing big and wouldn't it be nice if DU could score a PP goal:)

Friday's game is on Root Sports and FCS Pacific.

The "cool kids" sure have a sweet 12(13 counting mine) post thread going on Thursday morning.

Re: Omaha @ Denver November 18th and 19th...The NCHC Cool kids battle it out!

Unfortunately have to agree with gopherwes, this thread is sad.
Time to give the rivalry a kick start. We'll be seeing a lot more of the Mavs in the years to come.

Pioneers corral the Mavs!

It probably won't help much, but i will have the Ol' Cowboy Joe jersey on. i hear these mascot things matter to some folks. Now if it makes the cows quiver to look across the ice and think about what cowboys do to dem cows, then ok!

Steak dinners for all???

Re: Omaha @ Denver November 18th and 19th...The NCHC Cool kids battle it out!

Sorry this thread is lame UNO has it's own message board and that is where most of the fans post. This should be an entertaining series. UNO finally got the beaver off their back with a tie and a win last weekend! Archibald is a 17 year old straight out of high school and he is having a bigger impact than any of us thought. Broadhurst has been a beast so far this year, not sure who will be in goal but I'm sure Faulkner will be in net one night, the other night it could be Massa or Ed Belfour's kid Dayne who has shown flashes of brilliance in his time in net.

Not your fault. There are more posts about the pep band than the hockey team on DU’s blog.

Re: Omaha @ Denver November 18th and 19th...The NCHC Cool kids battle it out!

Knowing virtually nothing about him, I can't believe Ed's son plays at UNO. You'd think he'd land at a more traditional hockey school, if not at "Dakota" like his father. I hope we see some stability in Denver's lines this week. Makes me nervous when the Coaches start moving people around on the bench, in-game. DU also needs to stop conducting stickhandling drills when the opponent is penalized.... ugh.....passing back and forth, back and forth, everyone gets a turn, tape to tape up in the circles...very frustrating..... shoot. the. puck!!!
