Ohio University proposes a new facilities master plan that includes ice arena plans. They are currently competing in the ACHA Division I and used to compete at the NCAA level. At this point it's unknown if they would either renovate the current rank or build a new arena.
Yes of course there is no money or budget allocated to this so it's all talk and wishes. However I have to respect a university that at least has begun some planning. And even then nobody has mentioned in an actual desire to go NCAA. Just fun conversation fodder for now…
