Ohio State vs Minnesota State 1/24 - 1/25

The Buckeyes were swept on the road earlier this season by Minnesota State, but have been playing much better lately (2014) with a sweep of Penn State at home, and shootout wins on the road over #1-ranked Minnesota and WCHA 4th place Minnesota-Duluth. This weekend the Buckeyes come home to face the Mavericks, who, despite the difficult season they have had, sit tied with St. Cloud with 12 points, only a point behind the 6th place Buckeyes. This will not be an easy series for the Buckeyes by any stretch. They will need to come into this weekend's games with the same mindset that they have the past two weekends. Good luck to both teams and safe travels to anyone who is coming to the games!

The Mavs are hungry for a win. Goaltending has been solid despite the outcome of the last few games. I would expect this series to be very close as both teams are looking for points.

I expect the same. Ohio State will have to bring their best if they want to have success and pick up some points.

The Three Stars are up on the WCHA thread. Thrilling ending to a closely contested game. And, as mentioned in more detail in the Three Stars, here's to hoping for the very best for #23.
