Sierra is on the money again with us acquiring Colgate's top player. Keep em coming Sierra!OSU is about to make all of college hockey wish they were OSU. April is going to be awesome. Go BUCKS.
Colgate’s top player was (and still is) Elyssa Biederman. She played Little Caesar’s with Cassie Hall and Kirsten Simms. Maybe you’ve heard of them.Sierra is on the money again with us acquiring Colgate's top player. Keep em coming Sierra!
There's Biederman, of course, and we could certainly name a few others! Malachino's departure was partly due to the fact that she had difficulty accepting - rightly or wrongly - that some of her teammates seemed to want to get ahead of her in the hierarchy. Personally, I'm sorry because there's never enough talent on a team, and Malachino would have played a major role in the Raiders' attack in the fall. I can't wait to see how she performs under Muzerall, who is a very demanding coach.Sierra is on the money again with us acquiring Colgate's top player. Keep em coming Sierra!
Conference COTY plus Frozen Four coaches not COTY.I read a bit about the ACHA award, and I believe it is the case that the only coaches eligible for their award are the 'coach of the year' winners for each conference. So the only years that Muzerall could have won ACHA were those five years when she was WCHA coach of the year. At that point, one could look at the three or four other eligible coaches, see who did win, and what they might have done that was more impressive than being the WCHA winner.
And by "...one could look...", I mean NOT me. LOL! I'm really not that concerned. Post-season awards are nice and all, but they don't really mean that much to me.
These awards are also determined prior to NCAA final game so the outcome has no bearing on that year's Coach of the year.I read a bit about the ACHA award, and I believe it is the case that the only coaches eligible for their award are the 'coach of the year' winners for each conference.
