The States of North Dakota and Minnesota are governed by Yale hockey players!:eek:

The Bulldogs are not looking past the conference playoffs, but the governor of Minnesota might be. Mark Dayton '69, former Yale hockey goalie and two-year letterman, would love to see his alma mater in St. Paul's Xcel Energy Center for April's Frozen Four… assuming one of the home state schools also advances.

Former Yale player Jack Dalrymple '70 (lettered in 1968) might also have a two-team rooting interest as governor of North Dakota.

Yale was 13-11-0 in 1966-67 losing to BC 12-3. They were 6-18-0 in 1967-68 with one of those wins by forfeit and they lost 19-1 to Cornell. Hopefully Dayton and Dalrymple govern better than they play hockey.
