Official Robert Morris 2011-12 Thread - Colonization will not cease anytime soon

Here is a place where we can talk Colonial hockey and such, all 5 of us (hopefully a few more as the year goes on). Have at it.

We've added a 5th?? :p Thought that was reserved for after the Saturday night game of a weekend series. :D

We added a fifth, person that is. There was a guy at the end of last year's thread who said he'd be checking in on us from time to time. Think his name was, um, ballgame....that's the one.

Anyhow, here's the info on this weekend's opponent http://www.yorkulions.ca/sports/mice/2011-12/roster

Going to be an interesting year. A small but very talented graduating class to replace.

Decent opening weekend. Defense and goaltending look to be strong once again, offensive production still a work in progress but should see improvement week to week. Nice to see they took only 5 penalties total for the weekend. I can remember a few years back when they took at least 5-7 a game (sometimes way more than that). lol . Air Force this weekend will be very tough. They lost two games that they probably should have won against very good opponents. They're coming home hungry. It's good to have early season challenges, a true litmus test for this point of the year coming up on Sunday.
