That's 2 nights in a row NU has come out flat in the 1st & 2nd period. 3rd periods comebacks are not going to help this club against strong defense. Gotta be hungry for 60 minutes.

Coach Cronin pretty upset in that video (and i would be too), seemed like we did not want to bounce on the puck or generate an ounce of extra effort... 5x5, 5x4 or at anytime. We skated undisciplined, gave up penalties costing us 3 power play goals..

..he & the team, going to have to dig deep to come out of this one. I have not seen NU skate this bad (last night's effort).. in a long time. Mountain did not look good in the first 2 goals he gave up. The other 2 (on PP major)... he did not have a chance. Two tough gms coming up. Maybe that's what the doc ordered after Hanover(Dartmouth).... we need road games.

Congrats to UMass.. very well played (especially defensively), and after your tough losses, nice bounce back. I was very impressed with Wellman.
