Northeastern@RPI

I will be in NY at MSG today and will miss this game so please post could notes. If we cannot get at the very least a split for this weekend, we will have shown a lack of any sort of improvement so far this season. Honestly feel we have more talented players on this team than we have shown thus far. Defense and obviously, special teams, have been the problem and I had posted about this even before the season started that we can only go as far as those two aspects of the game will allow. Dealing with that has to be placed squarely on the coaching staff. Hoping this weekend is the turnaround for the season. Go Red!!!

FWIW, one of my nieces and one of her nieces (one of my grandnieces) will also be there.

Not sure if this will get posted - we are at Mustang Harry's on 7th Avenue. One of the most Fabulous bars and restaurants near MSG and what used to be our favorite hangout before and after Ranger games. We are supposed to be about 6 rows up from the bench on the visitor's side (I think) but we might be on the opposite side as I have not looked at the seating plan and we have not been here in years.
Even with free tickets, I cannot even imagine what today is going to cost us overall. Honestly do not know how anyone can be able to afford this more than once or twice per season. Will try to follow as much of the RPI game as we can but the wifi in the past was always kind of variable. It is great here at the bar (as are the drinks and the food). Good luck to the boys today - hopefully we might be home early enough to catch at least part of the girls' game later. But if this game runs late or goes to OT, it can take forever to get out of MSG and down into Penn Station for the long train ride home to the Jersey Shore.

I am sure that my niece has cheap seats or maybe she is pretending to be her "almost namesake". :-D

Doc back in the day I used to sit in the first row of the balcony (The old garden) for $2.00.
Best seats in the house, at least for a twelve year old. Thanks for the memories.
