Giving this its own thread because it's now much bigger than just a Northeastern/Springfield story. I know from several incidents how great the hockey community is in these situations and thought you all should be aware.
For a little background: MacLeod suffered a seizure after a check during a game last Sunday. The game was suspended after he was taken off the ice in a stretcher. He was in hospital for 24 hours and seemed better, but tests he had to undergo as a result of the seizure revealed the mass in his brain.

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - A benign mass has been discovered in the brain of Springfield Falcons player Wade MacLeod , his family says.
MacLeod’s family released a statement on Thursday saying that he will be undergoing further examination so that doctors can figure out what treatment will be right for him.
MacLeod suffered a seizure while on the ice during a game against the Adirondack Phantoms on Sunday. The game was stopped, and he was taken to Baystate Medical Center. MacLeod was released from the hospital on Monday.
His family has requested privacy as doctors continue their work.
