Northeast Regional Final: BC vs. tUMD

Village7C

Bring it, boys
Boston College, the number 1 seed overall, is looking to continue its 16 game winning streak by knocking off the defending National Champs for a trip to the Frozen Four in Tampa. This team has been on fire down the stretch thanks to solid goaltending from Parker Milner and a offense that has been unstoppable.

The UMD Bulldogs (tUMD) are coming in as a number 2 seed and 7th overall and will bring the big-game experience and grit to the ice tonight and look to repeat the magic of last year's NCAA playoffs. According to USCHO, the Bulldogs spent more weeks at No. 1 in the USCHO.com Division I Men’s Poll than any other team this year and were the top team in the PairWise Rankings for a good chunk of the season.

The Northeast Region will be sending a strong contender to the Frozen Four, no matter which on of these teams claims the victory tonight. Drop the puck!

Yeah the colors definitely clash yikes.

What's up with the attendance? Inexcusable. Doesn't BC draw at all? Game's in Wooster. That what, one train transfer? Maine fans outnumbered BC in Boston at the HE final, but I just assumed it was because of St. Patty's Day. But now I'm wondering...

Re: Northeast Regional Final: BC vs. tUMD

BC does not have a vary large travelling fan base, add on the inexcusable 8pm Sunday start time...

Re: Northeast Regional Final: BC vs. tUMD

Ah that's true I guess. Quite convenient for me at 6pm in Colorado. :)

Re: Northeast Regional Final: BC vs. tUMD

At least Joe Benenatti is calling the game. ESPN finally got something right. Too bad Craig Locker isn't the color guy. GO DAWGS!

Re: Northeast Regional Final: BC vs. tUMD

under two in the first, no score. another BC pp. Lamb to the box for boarding. third BC pp.
