Brown called for tripping off a faceoff. (Good call)

NMU on their 3rd PK of the 1st. PK has looked really good so far. Let's hope it keeps up.

Penalty killed with little Michigan pressure.

Michigan has had 3 PP's and has 4 shots for the game.

Both NMU and Michigan have great chances after the penalty expired but we are still scoreless with around 9:00 to go in the 1st.

Cats win the faceoff and Hanson backhands a shot/pass that seems to handcuff Hogan and it goes right 5-hole.

Cats kill the penalty (4/4) and get a 3-on-2 at even strength but can't get a rebound.

3:00 or so left in the 1st.

Miller gets beat a bit and then helps hit the puck in the net for Michigan and it is a sad 2-1 game.

Hagelin gets the goal.

End of 1, 2-1 NMU. Michigan came alive after that goal and NMU needed the break. That PK time will start catching up with NMU if it continues.
