PLEASE POST YOUR PICKS IN THIS ORDER, to make it easier on sc(u)m when she's tallying points:
NMU
Ferris State
Michigan
Miami
As always, the PtC is open to anyone - just follow these simple rules.
RULES: Choose one player, per team, to represent you for the whole weekend. Choose the player that you think will net you the most PtC points. Your picks MUST be in before faceoff on Friday! Faceoff for the early game is 4:35EST.
You get no points if you pick a goaltender and the game ends in a tie unless it is a 0-0 tie. In the event of a shootout, players picked will receive one bonus point for a shootout goal. Goalies receive no bonus for a shootout.
Always make sure you pay attention to names, as some teams will have two players with the same last name. If you don't specify, you get no points.
Scoring is as follows:
Forwards:
Goal - 2 points
Assist - 1 point
Defensemen:
Goal - 3 points
Assist - 2 points
Goalies:
Win - 2 points
Shutout - 3 points
If there are extenuating circumstances (goalie assists, etc.) I reserve the right to alter points as I see fit, with the consent of a pre-selected "committee" of my choosing.
To make things a little more interesting, I'm going to eliminate the top scoring forwards and defensemen from contention this week.
THESE PLAYERS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE:
NMU:
F - Mark Olver
D - Erik Gustafsson
FSU:
F - Blair Riley
D - Zach Redmond
UM:
F - Carl Hagelin
D - Steve Kampfer
Miami:
