NMU Pick to Click: Getting Olver the playoff Beard

What's Next?
THIS IS A TEST. THIS IS ONLY A TEST. IN THE EVENT OF A REAL PICK TO CLICK, THE POINTS WOULD MATTER.

---------------------------------------------

RULES:
* Choose one player, per team, per night. Choose the players that you think will net you the most PtC points. Your picks MUST be in before faceoff on Sunday (2:05ET)!

* You get no points if you pick a goaltender and the game ends in a tie unless it is a 0-0 tie. The scoring for a goaltender is finalized after regulation and OT, if necessary. THEREFORE: shootouts do NOT count for or against a goaltender.

* Always make sure you pay attention to names, as some teams will have two players with the same last name. If you don't specify, you get no points.

Scoring is as follows:

Forwards:
Goal - 2 points
Assist - 1 point
Shootout goal - 1 point

Defensemen:
Goal - 3 points
Assist - 2 points
Shootout goal - 1 point

Goalies:
Win - 2 points
Shutout - 3 points
Assist - 4 points

To make things a little more interesting, I'm going to eliminate the top scoring forwards and defensemen from contention this week.

THESE PLAYERS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE:

NMU:
All players are eligible.

Nipissing:
All Players are eligible.

Statistics/Rosters:
NMU: USCHO Roster (note: may be incomplete) | nmu.edu Roster
Nipissing: Roster

Please note that in a regular game, only statistics on USCHO's website are used. Since the USCHO roster has no freshmen listed for NMU, I used the roster from NMU's website. In the future, this will not be the case.

The Lakers' link doesn't work (the board filter picked up the expletive). Here's a TinyURL for it: http://tinyurl.com/n1p1551ng

NMU: Florek
Lakers: Gray

this is only mostly true. regarding regular and overtime goals and assists, uscho's statistics are used. however, uscho does not (at least last year) list the shooters for the shootout (and whether or not they scored). so, in the event of a shootout, i do turn to nmu's boxscore for totaling those points. on with the picks

Hi there. There's a few faces I haven't seen here in a while.

I'm not playing, I just wanted to come say hi.

This is correct.

Re: NMU Pick to Click: Getting Olver the playoff Beard

So all we do is pick 3 players offense defense and goalie and get points based on there stats in the game?
