Once again this year I will be hosting a fantasy hockey league over at Yahoo. Click this link to go to the league page and sign up.

I will try for a 16 team league again, the draft will be an auto-draft once we reach 16 teams, match-ups will be head to head, and this year we will have a championship playoff. Once you sign up be sure to edit your pre-draft player rankings to give yourself the best chance at the players you want.

How big are the rosters for each team? The league a bunch of us got into last year ended up having way too many players selected, so that some people actually had AHL goalies and Islander 4th liners playing.

I won't be quite that big. If I get a full 16 teams there will be a total of 176 players, or 11 each (with at least 1 goalie and 2 D each). Also with how scoring works it'll pay for everyone to have 1 or 2 NHL caliber goons hanging around too.

Plus I allow enough freedom in roster moves that if someone does end up with a player who sucks they have plenty of free agents to choose from as replacements.

League is now full. Everyone who signed up has until Monday to update their predraft rankings. Monday morning I will set the draft status to "ready" and Yahoo will conduct the draft very soon after that.

We need one more team in the Goons'n'Goalies, otherwise Albertson will be booted, and we'll run with ten teams. Please, don't let the opportunity to beat the rookie pass you by.
