While the NHL's Dallas Stars and Detroit Red Wings are battling it out on the ice January 16th in Dallas the Oklahoma Sooners and Minot State Beavers of North Dakota will be lacing their skates up waiting for their turn to take the ice.
While the 13-6-3, 7th ranked Sooners will be looking to improve their current ranking and possible seed at the National Tournament the 16th ranked Minot State Beavers come in needing some wins to get them into the top 13 and send them back to Nationals after a few year hiatus.
The games will be at the American Airlines Arena with the NHL facing off at 1pm and the ACHA taking the ice at 4.
