The NEWHL Women's College Summer League is open to Division 1 and Division 3 college players, including those entering college this coming year, or recent grads. The NEWHL plays out of Ristuccia Arena in Wilmington, Mass, the Boston Bruins training and practice facility.
The league consists of four teams, playing an eight game schedule, plus two playoff games in the NEWHL "Lobster Pot Tourney" season ending cookout. Games are Thursday nights from 7:00PM to 8:30PM beginning June 17. An All-Star team will be picked to compete in the Chowder Cup.
Teams consist of a maximum of 15 skaters and two goalies. Games consist of two 25 minute stop time periods. Jerseys are provided, and professional coaches are on the bench for each game. The cost is $299 per player. Full payment is due at the first game.
