I was told by an insider who attended the press conference that was held a couple of days ago that the NHL is apparently interested in providing $1,000,000 to the league and that there will be further discussions with the NHL in the near future. The Maple Leafs played Balmoral Hall a few weeks ago at the new MTS Ice Plex...quite an impressive facility.
