Matt Willows scores on the UNH PP to tie it up. A UNO player fell down and opened a passing lane to Willows for the equalizer. Goumas with the lone assist. 1-6 on the PP for UNH and UNO.

Willows again!!!!! A 2 on 1 with Goumas and Willows found the net for the 2nd time in the 3rd. 3-2 UNH takes the lead. Assists to Sorkin and Knodel.

PP goal for Nick Sorkin. UNH turns a 2-1 deficit after a 4 on 3 PP goal allowed into a 4-2 lead with 2 PP goals of their own. Assists to Goumas and Willows. Willows with 2 goals and 1 assist for 3 points. Sorkin with 1 goal and 2 assists for 3 points.

Hat Trick for Willows. Goumas with an unselfish play to pass it Willows. Willows put it into the empty net to give UNH the 5-2 lead. Assist to Goumas. Hat came down to the ice from the crowd. Some hats hit the netting instead of the ice.

Willows' hat trick was 2nd of career. Other was during quarterfinals vs. Providence last year.

UNH sweeps #19 Nebraska Omaha with a 5-2 victory on the hat trick/4 point effort from Willows and 3 point efforts from Goumas and Sorkin. UNH plays next Saturday at the Verizon in Manchester, NH vs. Dartmouth in the Battle for the RiverCup. What a great comeback from the Wildcats in the early stages of the 2nd half of the season. Started with a loss to Cornell, but now they have 3 straight wins (Princeton, UNO, UNO).
