Eau Claire is a strong team coming from the West as well. Lake Forest was originally picked to finish 6th in the preseason poll and is surprising the NCHA. It’s a down year between Adrian, Point, and SNC.

Lake Forest is the front runner, but I think anybody that makes the Harris Cup has a legit chance to win it and take the NCHA's Pool A bid.

watched Eau Claire play in the prime link tourney this year and is still one of the best d3 teams i have seen play this year--i fully expect to see them in ncaa tournament
