NCAA Quarterfinal - Hamline @ Stevens Point - the red haired stepchild

Re: NCAA Quarterfinal - Hamline @ Stevens Point - the red haired stepchild

I am going...anticipate a tighter game than some expect...
Quite a turnaround for Hamline from their two win 2013-14 season.

Re: NCAA Quarterfinal - Hamline @ Stevens Point - the red haired stepchild

There is not too much to talk about. If Point plays to their abilities, Hamline has no chance. If they don't, Hamline has a chance.

But Plattsburgh scored more goals in '87.....

I couldn't help myself :p

Re: NCAA Quarterfinal - Hamline @ Stevens Point - the red haired stepchild

Dr. Kevorkian called - he said we don't need him - this thread is already dead....

Re: NCAA Quarterfinal - Hamline @ Stevens Point - the red haired stepchild

Nice summary. Why don't you say if Point scores more goals they will win?

Obviously that would be the case and is a different statement entirely. The talent level between the two teams isn't close. Point played pretty terrible during their previous meeting and lost by one goal, while starting their backup goalie. I don't see Jaeger giving up 5 goals on 23 shots. If Point plays to the top of their ability, they will not lose this game. If Hamline plays to the best of their ability, they still might.

Hamline is much more talented than anyone thinks. They could win this game! The Miac is the most underrated league in college hockey.
