I wanted to see if posters are interested in participating in NCAA Pick-em this season if I run the thread? I talked to FS23 earlier this summer and he will not be running the thread this season. I wanted to bring it back this year, as there has not been a NCAA Pick-em since FS23 ran it for the 2014-2015 season.
I would keep the general format that FS23 used in the past. Here is the general format:
We pick 15 games each week, spread throughout the conferences.
Each game in the first half of the season will be worth 2 points.
Each game in the second half of the season will be worth 3 points.
Each series in the Conference Tournaments will be worth 4 points.
Regional Semifinals will be worth 3 points.
Regional Finals will be worth 4 points.
Frozen Four Semifinals will be worth 6 points.
Frozen Four Championship will be worth 8 points.
There will be 1 bonus question each week.
The bonus question will range between 5-10 points.
There will be more than 1 bonus question each week during the NCAA tournament.
The bonus question will be scored depending on how close you are to the actual result (i.e. NOT all or nothing).
If anybody would like to volunteer to help out in running this thread, let me know.
The first week of games that we will predict for will be for the Weekend of October 7/8 (first week of full meaningful games). That should give me time to get everything set up the next couple of weeks in preparation for the first week of games.
