Monopoly City

Sieve Boy!
Monopoly has launched an online game featuring Google Earth where you can buy any city street in the world. Ive been messing around in it for a few minutes and it seems pretty simple, fun. Im not sure what to do with it, or what the real object of the game is. Anyway. You can look me up/add me as a friend. Sak8405 is my user name.

Seems interesting. Hennepin Ave in Minneapolis was selling for $2M. Pushkinskaya a nice side street next to the most important street in St Petersburg Russia...was selling for $2M. One of the two or three most important city streets in Riga Latvia was selling for $1.4M. And the entire Minneapolis Skyway was selling for $4M.

A street makes money...which is an income value. But it just seems as though a street sells for the name...ie 5th Ave New York sell for a ton just for prestige sake. I spose in the end that could be pretty cool if you lock it in....and wait for its value to go up. Just better make sure to keep logging in...or someone will steal it.

Do they have multiple worlds or is there only one Wall Street(worth $375M)?

Kinda neat...but all I've found are residential streets. Are there commercial and industrial streets?

I was reading more about it and while they use Google Maps for the overlay, Users can add streets since the streets are controled by OneWorldStreet or some interactive map thing. So, as this goes along more streets are likely to be added, and if you can figure it out, Im sure you can add one yourself.
