Miguel Sano will not be suspended by MLB. They ruled insufficient evidence and conflicting accounts made it impossible to do so.

Cleared to play for full season.

San Francisco Giants ace Madison Bumgarner suffered a broken pitching hand after being hit by a line drive on Friday against the Kansas City Royals.

"It's just a downer, we know what we means to us," manager Bruce Bochy told reporters, according to the Bay Area News Group. "It's just terrible news for us."

Bumgarner, making his final tuneup before his scheduled Opening Day start, was struck by a hard shot off the bat of the Royals' Whit Merrifield in the third inning.

Chris Sale just took a line drive to his hip/leg. Time to use minor leaguers till spring is over.

One of the greatest videos of all time in baseball. The odds of that happening by that pitcher are just astronomical.

I don’t think there could have been a bird whose feathers showed as well on camera outside of him plunking a macaw.
