Miller in for Hansen
Schack in for Lofquist

The issues with a producing sophmore class continue.

Re: Minnesota @ Wisconsin (Goldy vs Bucky Badger) 11/7/09

upon reading a certain someone's blog here on USCHO i learned that the Gophers are "trying" to play a gritty style of hockey, is this true?

i am unable to see the Gophs due to living abroad, and, now am unable to hear them as of yesterday (for whatever reason.) and, i was just wondering if this is something that's been brought up more so by the fan base, or, explicitly stated/tacitly implied by tDon?

because, in the previous games, save (maybe) the UAA series, they Gophs didn't seem they were able to sustain a "muck & grind" style" play in the offensive zone - aka wear them down.

just curious as to what you guys (actually) see/think.

It looks like they are hitting a bit more tonight. Wouldn't put it in the "grinding" category yet, but the potential is there.
