I just hope that they continue to play the way they did against UNH.
If they can do that this weekend, win or lose, I will change my opinion about their chances in the ECAC.

Lets go RED!!!!!!!!!

I think we can agree that it is not an individual problem at all. This group needs to play team defense and team special situations far better. it is coordination and communication on the ice. The bigger surface at UNH may have forced that type of play. i could not agree more with you. This team has time to develop as there is a lot of season and league play left but it has to start NOW. Individually there is a lot of good but hockey is a true team sport played by 4 forward lines and 3 defensive pairings in front of a goalie and every aspect has to work and fit well. From winning face offs to coming over the boards and changing lines to dropping the forwards back to cover for defense men who jump up into the play to defense men manning the points and keeping the puck in the offensive zone to limiting the shots on goal to only those from the perimeter and clearing any and all rebounds. When you watch the NHL, every team does all of this seamlessly to the point that you notice immediately any sort of failing. At the NCAA level, you might be able to get away with a weakness in one area or another and still be successful. But we have simply not done much of this at all well even with what i consider a talent level not all that different from most teams (obviously with BC, QU, with all those draft choices, there are a numbe3r of teams with much higher level talent).
So - Let's Go Red!!! Get me a win for starting my first thread of this season!!!!!!!!
 
Early in the game but good effort and better offensive flow from the men in red than I’ve seen to start a game this season. Hoping it continues!
 
The ESPN+ score graphic started by labeling our opponents "Mankato," then "Minnesota State", and it currently says... "Minnesota". Come ON, folks.
