Re: Minnesota State @ Minnesota 12/3/11

I'd like to thank all the Gopher fans for making this a Hall of Fame for Whining thread. Great job all of you!

Re: Minnesota State @ Minnesota 12/3/11

Great Sweep for the Gophers... But I found it was a difficult game to watch because of the refs - they took the momentum and flow away from both teams...

Re: Minnesota State @ Minnesota 12/3/11

Sure, they might, but they will take the good ones, not refs like Don Adam, who's ego wrecks otherwise good hockey games.
.

Good ones? Who would that be exactly? It's a thankless job, but I wouldn't put any of them into the elite class of college hockey officials.

Would you like a halo?

Adam and Walsh have been horrid, I agree, but you're acting like the only bad calls went against Minnesota....

No, it was bad reffing all around. Tripping was legal, the refs called the game wayyyyy too tight (although they had to call it tight, due to MSU's chippiness off the get-go), and the refs made themselves part of the game.

I understand we are very undisciplined and whatnot, but don't you agree the only way for us to even compete in this series was with that chippiness?
