For those interested, the Minnesota State High School Hockey Tournament runs today thru Saturday.

There's already a thread for this in the Cafe where it belongs. This is the Division 1 board, not the High School board.

I should start a thread about eight grader and Northeastern commit Cameron Askew's team in D1.

So will you be talking about the college committed players or the games? If the games, then you're not talking about college games or teams, so why post it in this forum? If the commitments, most teams already have threads where you could talk about them, so why start a thread in this forum?

Is he and other college commits (to a dozen plus schools) playing in a tournament that we can watch online? If so, post away! If not, apples-to-oranges.

I can't wait for threads about USHL games to show up on the D-1 side since those teams have players committed to college programs as well.

Not likely to happen given there are no USHL teams in Minnesota.

Holy crap! My son is a 97! And he's a first year bantam! Of course one of his buddies is a 98 and I could see him getting recruited. He's real good and talking about playing varsity next year - as big as some of the varsity kids now and real fast and skilled.
