Yeah, I'll echo this as someone from eastern PA. Bethlehem has some good places, especially at the casino.

So the backstory is when Billy Joel wrote the song, it was actually about Bethlehem. But, as he described it, the words didn't rhyme...
"So we're living here in Bethle<b>hem</b>
And they're closing all the factories ???
Therefore, he changed it to Allentown because it "fit" better.
He explained this a couple of weeks ago on his show on Sirius/XM (not there anymore...one of those "temporary" channels that they devote to different artists)
