Commercials like that make me feel confident that I could make it as a jingle writer. They also make me feel confident that an effing chimp could do okay as well.

Just mine the thread for gold like MEg/Twitch's Muppet song. Sure you'd have to give them half the rights, but you could make up for it in volume.

One minor change to those lyrics I might suggest:

It's time to blow some passes
It's time to miss the net
It's time to get embarrassed on the Husky Show tonight
It's time to slack on defense
It's time to dump and watch
It's time to lose again on the Husky Show tonight
Why do we always come here?
I guess we're really lame
It's like some kind of torture
To have to watch the game
Their power play has started
Our PK is retarded
We smell like someone farted
Crap they scored on us again, we can never win, this line doesn't rhyme, screw it let's get drunk
This is what we call the Husky Show

Dump and watch is more accurate to the current season, since they spend so much time defending their own zone that they often just chip it out and change lines. I may have a couple other ideas later. Something to help the second-to-last stanza flow with the original tune.
