Michigan Tech Hockey 2025-26: Time To Muck It Up

Going into the Bowling Green series with a healthy team. With a chance for the regular season title? Who-'da thought.
 
Tonights result was exactly why having refs who " let them play" is a mistake. they " let them play" so much that a flagrant trip in 3x3 was ignored and that resulted in the BG win. The refs attitude towards that penalty was throughout the game and honestly it went on all weekend. BG mugged our guys repeatedly. jack anderson got speared, no call, he got slammed to the ground in front of the net no call. etc etc. in any other league, even the big, that trip should have been and would have been called. If Bg thinks they can play that way with other refs they are sadly mistaken. I'm pretty disgusted with this whole thing.

I am surprised that you didn't mention the Tech Goalie tripping a BG player well after the third goal among other examples. Tech players are no angels as well. How the BG second goal was overturned in the second is beyond me. Calls were missed both ways, Manure, as always.
 
Watching that trip indeed it should have been called. the refs have a tough job. they don't want to have a call or non call affecting the outcome but in this case it did. also there was goalie interference on that goal so i thought it was the right call.
certainly agree tech are not angels for sure.
