It's expected that one of the games at Penn State will be announced as an outdoor game at Beaver Stadium for the weekend before the Super Bowl.

Martone scoring a greasy one in the first minute was a great preview of coming attractions.

The all-freshman line was the best one on the ice. Ryker Lee might not have gotten the attention like Lindstrom and Martone, but he was the one that everyone was talking about. Best threesome of frosh since Abdelkader-Kennedy-Crowder.

The defense lacked overall speed. Doesn't look like anyone except Basgall could be a puck carrier. But there is the most size I've ever seen on the blue line. Ralph and Barnhill are huge and have long reaches. When Strbak is now the fourth biggest D dressed, you have a lot of bulk back there.

I believe on the B1G+ broadcast they mentioned that this is the 6th biggest team in the NCAA this year.

Do we think this may be the best class of newcomers since the 80s? I wouldn't be surprised if Lee and Martone were the top two scorers on this team at the end of the year...
