Miami@RPI round two 10/11/25

I guess it is my turn to start one of these.
I/m not as excited about this team as I was after last weeks game. But it is still early.

Lets go RED!!!!!!!!!!!!

So far it has appeared that we played two games and both showed us to be first 1/2 competitors. Although not scoring against BU we most certainly held our own for 40 minutes before falling to a truly top notch team. last night we did something similar. We were a good, if not very good 30 minute team. Leading 3-1, moving the puck fairly well and setting up offensive opportunities while denying most opponents chances. Then we began to give up more odd man rushes than I could keep track of (jenny says there were about 7 instances) and we paid for it. Will leave this for the coach to address and solve - and I have the utmost faith that he will. Unlike some years in the past, i do have the feeling we have the personnel to deal with this effectively. Go Red!! Let's learn from this weekend and get the split and move on the a very tough weekend against BC and Providence.

For the football fans - RPI covered the spread of 37.5 today 57-13 and it was not even that close. In girls hockey Northeaster beat our ladies 6-1 and that also was not even that close. i do not think our girls were able to register a shot on goal in the third period. The entire period seemed to be spent in our defensive zone.
