Did anyone else get this invitation from Merrimack athletics in the mail today?

Dear Friend of Merrihack Athletics,

Our hockey team has already accomplished so much this year we've begun planning festivities for next year's opening night on Friday, October 14, 2011. We're hopeful you will make it. As a long-time supporter of Merrihack hockey, we'd like to invite you to the game and we will be giving away replicas of our 2 banners (hopefully 3) to all fans that enter Lawler Arena.

"Beat BC twice in the regular season!"
"We can compete with anyone!!!"
"Road win vs. a team in the top 50% of the NCAAs RPI ratings"*

We do hope you can join us on Merrihack Banner Night in North Andover, MA.

Another win! Funny thing related to this, from ordering tickets to the MC-BU game at Lawler online recently, they put me on their email list and anytime they send me something, Hotmail tells me that "this email looks very, very suspicious and recommend you don't open it."

I get that comment frequently. After going through many years of terrible interfaces and crappy spam protection (while I was in college and never used my hotmail account), they revamped it, and now the service is actually very good. Since I'm one of the few who hate the Gmail interface, Hotmail has become a very easy to use and convenient service.

Fair enough, there's a kid my division that still uses his AOL email account...now that's bad!

Me too.
OK, so I type a letter in my AOL mail, hit send and the person I send it to receives it. It's free, and I can add a smiley face to my mail if I like. How ya gonna beat that?

i'm with you Fivehole.............i've had it forever , it does what i want it to do and secondly and more importantly, who cares?

Same with me. Has now defaulted to become my wife's e-mail of choice. Works perfectly well for what she needs.

We BU fans and most of other Hockey East school fans love it when bc loses.:D

My two favorite teams are the Terriers and anyone who plays bc.

All bets are off on the 18th.
