Gotta like my alma mater (MC) Outstanding 1st line, all three going Hockey East. Offense, defense and goaltending. They just smoked Hingham, 8-1.

My alma gets by Woburn 1-0, they play #2 St. Johns Prep on Sunday.

Fitzgerald going to BC while other two going to UNH and BU. Fitzgerald is only a soph. at MC.

So Bracket 2 is basically a wrap except for seeding (SJP & BC High being 2-0).

If MC & Hingham win, how will the 3-way 1-2 ties be broken in Bracket 1? Goal differential (which would basically kill Hingham already)? Seeding (so #4 Weymouth)? Or is it MIAA's favorite arbitrary tie-breaker: coin flips?

No contest, St. Johns manhandles BC High 6-1

The earlier game was more exciting as Weymouth got knocked off by MC 5-4. York was at the game too.

BC High has played MC tough; 3-3 tie and a 5-2 loss. I still think that if MC's 1st line gets going, they'll be very tough to beat. MC's getting great production from other lines (White with a HT, Iovanna, Evangelista, and Roberto).

Finals:
Prep 5-1 over Weymouth
MC4-2 over BC High.

Prep and MC at the Garden Sunday, late afternoon.

So my old school (MC) is in the Super 8 Final, my old hometown (Wakefield) is in the D1 Final and my current hometown (Franklin) is in the D2 Final. Best of luck to all of them

MC4-3 in OT. Winning goal scored by BU commit, Jr. Brendan Collier. 1st State hockey championship for MC since 1974. Congrats!
